At 113,000 gross tons, and measuring 951 feet long, Ventura is the largest in the P&O fleet, with capacity for 3,092 passengers. She has 1,550 cabins, in 6 different categories (including convenient family suites), with 881 having private balconies. An impressive collection of 7,000 pieces of modern art is displayed throughout Ventura, and the decor is stylish and elegant, with public areas commissioned by contemporary British artists, and canvasses on the walls instead of prints. Ventura has paired up with the Tate Modern, who will host seminars, lectures and practical art classes on their special interest cruises. Facilities onboard Ventura include 15 passenger decks, 4 pools, a sports court for tennis or football, luxury spa, beauty salon and gym with ocean views. Unique features aboard Ventura include the first circus school at sea, 'Cirque Ventura', a digital Scalextric track, and the endless pool, with its current, located in the spa. Ventura offers a wealth of family facilities, with children’s clubs for all ages, ranging from an indoor and outdoor play area centred around Noddy, to Decibels teen lounge with its own rock school and DJ decks. She has 12 bars on board, including a jazz bar and cool warehouse bar, and the largest theatre to be found on a British cruise ship. The three main dining rooms on Ventura are The Bay Tree, Saffron and Cinnamon, all of which have two seating each evening, with alternatives being The White Room, with its menu by Marco Pierre White, East, the Waterside Restaurant, Frankies Pizzeria and Ramblas Tapas Bar.
