Operating out of Southampton, the cruise line runs a fleet of six cruise ships, offering mainly 14 night cruises, and all flying the British flag.

P&O Cruises - Long established company, range of impressive facilities
The cruise line started with a mail steamer which set sail in 1837, and moved into cruising as early as the mid-1840's, with the innovative idea of carrying passengers as well as mail. They offered trips to Gibraltar, Malta and Athens from Southampton, before expanding their routes into India, China and Japan and developing more luxurious cruise liners. Now the biggest British cruise line operator, P&O Cruises offers a wealth of services at good value for money, specifically tailored for the British market. Its fleet is comprised of six cruise liners - Arcadia, Artemis, Aurora, Oceana, Oriana and Ventura. Arcadia and Artemis are adult-only cruises, with the others welcoming families with children. Facilities are extensive on a P&O cruise and feature celebrity-chef restaurants and impressive modern art collections, with Ventura, P&O's youngest and largest cruise liner, offering an innovative rock school for teenagers, a Scalextric Formula One race track and even a circus school!
