Costa Magica Cruise Ship

One of Costas' larger-sized cruisers, the Destiny-class Costa Magica is one of the biggest to sail in Europe, and a sister ship to the Costa Fortuna. The ship features some of Italys' best-loved holiday hotspots as her theme, with public rooms named for popular tourist destinations, such as Positano and Venice, creating an air of romance and style. Appealing to all types of international cruisers from both Europe and North America, the Costa Magica embarks on cruises around the Mediterranean and Baltic Seas, as well as the Caribbean. 

The Costa Magica made her maiden voyage in 2004, and weighs in at 105,000 tons with a capacity for 2,672 passengers. There are 1,358 cabins on board, with around a quarter of them having private balconies, and 64 suites. The Costa Magica boasts plenty of art with a 'magic' theme adorning the public areas, with over 5,000 pieces on board including prints, vases, sculptures etc, and the decor has a lively yet elegant touch, but heavily influenced by the colourful parent line, Carnival. Features on board the Costa Magica include 13 passenger decks, 4 pools, a running track, tennis courts, internet centre, card room, library and a shopping promenade. The spa on board the Costa Magica, the Saturnia Spa, is almost 5,000 square feet and offers saunas and steam rooms and plenty of beauty treatments, as well as a well-equipped workout room. The Squok Club on the Costa Magica takes children from ages 3-12 and arranges a wide range of activities, and there is a separate area for teenagers.
