The largest Italian passenger ship ever built, the Cost Concordia weighs in at 112,000 tons and is 950 feet long. She has capacity for 3,700 passengers in her 1,500 cabins, and embarks on cruises throughout the Mediterranean. The Costa Concordia has a theme based on European architectural design, and its public rooms are named after major cities. Facilities onboard the Costa Concordia include 13 passenger decks, 4 swimming pools (one with a retractable roof), 5 open-air Jacuzzis, and the main feature of the ship, the Samsara Spa. The Costa Concordia is also home to the largest spa at sea, a 20,000 foot state-of-the-art facility spanning 2 decks and offering 10 treatment rooms, a thalassotherapy pool and a spa-only balcony. Other features on the Costa Concordia include a hair salon, computer room, library, video arcade, an outdoor cinema and Formula One racing simulator. The ships' Squok Club offers the best facilities for children in the Costa fleet.
