Celebrity Summit Cruise Ship

Along with the Millennium, Infinity and Constellation, the Celebrity Summit makes up the third in the group of Millennium-class ships and offers an elegant and luxurious cruise experience to Hawaii, Alaska and Mexico. She entered service in 200, and, along with her sister ships, offered innovative features such as an impressive art collection, state-of-the art spa and a music library, as well as boasting a gas turbine propulsion system which created less pollution and a smoother ride for passengers.

 

The Celebrity Summit entered service in 2001 and, weighing 91,000 tons and 965 feet in length, has capacity for 1,950 passengers. She has a total of 999 cabins, 590 of which have verandas, and a choice of 4 categories of suites. Decor on the Celebrity Summit is stylish and refined, and boasts over 500 pieces of art and sculpture, with plenty of glass in its interior. Features on board the Celebrity Summit include 2 swimming pools, 4 Jacuzzis, a jogging track, basketball court, golf simulator, card room, designer shops, library and music library. The Celebrity Summit also offers Connect@Sea, providing internet access to all passengers with lap tops. The ships' AquaSpa is impressive, with its spacious interior home to a thalassotherapy pool, treatment rooms and modern gym and exercise equipment. A supervised kids club, the Ship Mates Fun Factory, takes children from 3-17, and arranges activities and games, as well as offers babysitting.

 

Entertainment on board the Celebrity Summit is varied and ranges from Vegas-style shows in the Celebrity Theatre, to live music in the Cova Cafe and dancing in the Revelations Lounge. The ship also features a Champagne and Martini Bar, cinema and Casino. Dining on the Celebrity Summit takes place in either the Cosmopolitan or the Normandie Restaurant, both elegant and grand rooms with opulent decor, with more casual fare found in the Waterfall Cafe and the AquaSpa.
