Celebrity Millennium Cruise Ship - Original Millennium-class ship
The Celebrity Millennium debuted in 2000 as the first of the Millennium-class ships, and offers cruises to Europe and the Caribbean as well as Transatlantic crossings. Following this, the company added the Infinity, Summit and Constellation to the group, all offering large-style yet elegant cruising with bigger and better facilities. The Celebrity Millennium was the largest to be built in France at that time, and offers some unique and innovative features, including a peaceful botanical conservatory. The ship also boasts a state-of-the-art gas turbine propulsion system, designed to be more fuel-efficient and provide the Celebrity Millennium customers with a smoother ride.

Weighing 91,000 tons and measuring 965 feet in length, the Celebrity Millennium has occupancy for 2,034 passengers in her 975 cabins, which include 590 with private verandas, and 44 suites. The cabins on board the Celebrity Millennium are spacious with elegant decor, and reflect the classic style of the interior, which is decorated in an eclectic but sleek way with lots of glass, wood and marble, and an Art Deco theme. Facilities on the Celebrity Millennium include 2 swimming pools, 4 Jacuzzis, a jogging track, basketball court, golf simulator, music library, 2-storey library and an internet room, as well as a florist/conservatory. The AquaSpa on board the Celebrity Millennium is 25,000 square feet, and well-equipped with treatment rooms, saunas and steam rooms, a thalassotherapy pool and a modern gym and fitness centre. Children can visit the Ship Mates Fun Factory on the Celebrity Millennium, with facilities for ages 3-17, and families can make use of the ships' X-Club with their children.
Celebrity Millennium Ship - Good choice of dining and entertainment on-board
Dining on board the Celebrity Millennium remains a formal affair in the evenings, with the ships' main restaurants - the Olympic and the Metropolitan - offering 2 seating’s and a choice of gourmet fare (the Olympic is an extra charge). Casual dining can be found in the Ocean Grill, as well as lighter more health-conscious food at the Spa Cafe. Entertainment takes place in the Celebrity Theatre, with live music played in the ships bars, dancing in the nightclub and gambling in the casino. Day time activities on board the Celebrity Millennium include dance lessons, art auctions, lectures and bingo.
