Celebrity Journey Cruise Ship

Celebrity Journey Cruise Ship - One of the Azamara cruises, subsdiary of Celebrity
Celebrity Journey is a cruise ship owned and operated by Azamara Cruises, a subsidiary of Celebrity Cruises. Azamara has 2 ships, the Journey and the Quest, which were originally meant to be part of the Celebrity Xpeditions line, but ended up sailing under their own brand name. The Celebrity Journey was built in 2000 and started life as the R6 for Renaissance Cruises, was renamed the Blue Dream by Pullmanur Cruises, and now, under the Celebrity umbrella, offers a deluxe cruise experience with itineraries to Europe, the Caribbean and South America.

Cruises on the Celebrity Journey - Midsize cruise ship, attracting older couples
Smaller than most cruise ships, the midsize Celebrity Journey weighs 30,277 tons and measures 592 feet in length. She is small enough to access a number of out-of-the-way ports, and has capacity for 710 passengers. A classic cruise experience with few children’s facilities, means that the Celebrity Journey is more suited to older couples than families, with the ship mainly attracting an American clientele.  Her features include 9 passenger decks, observation deck, swimming pool, Jacuzzis, a jogging track, and an internet cafe. The Celebrity Journeys' AquaSpa and wellness centre has facilities for beauty treatments, as well as plenty of fitness and exercise equipment and an assortment of classes and activities.

Celebrity Journey Ship - Range of entertainment and dining options
Entertainment on the Celebrity Journey ranges from productions and shows in the Celebrity Cabaret Lounge to magicians and live bands, and there is a casino on board as well as a number of bars, such as Michaels' Club and a Martini Bar. Dining on the Celebrity Journey is either in the Discoveries Restaurant, Prime C or Aqualina, or the poolside Windows Cafe.
