Celebrity Century Cruise Ship - First of the Century Class ships 

One of the company’s' Century-class ships, the Celebrity Century offers a quality cruise experience with signature amenities, and a fairly quiet and generally adult-orientated atmosphere. The Celebrity Century cruise liner has recently enjoyed a multi-million dollar makeover and now offers a chic and elegant interior, with new accommodation, upgraded staterooms and improved facilities throughout the ship. Sailing to traditional destinations such as the Caribbean and the Mediterranean, as well as embarking on classic transatlantic cruises, the Celebrity Century also offers itineraries to Morocco, Russia, Scandinavia and the Arctic Circle.    

Cruise on the Celebrity Century - Boasting the most suites of any of the company’s fleet 

The 71,545 ton Celebrity Century was launched in December 1995, and is 815 feet long and 105 feet wide, with capacity for 1,814 passengers, based on double occupancy. The Celebrity Century enjoys a 2 to 1passenger to staff ratio, and a cruise speed of 21.5 knots. As a result of the company’s' 2006 $55 million refurbishment, the Celebrity Century now boasts the most suites of any ship in the fleet, and updated amenities similar to those found on its Millennium ships, as well as a more glamorous brighter feel. Accommodation on a Celebrity Century includes 875 cabins, 61 with verandas, as well as Penthouse and Royal suites. Facilities include 10 passenger decks, 2 pools, 4 boutiques, a computer room, library, art gallery and a children’s' programme for ages 3-17. New features include a new stand alone spa, the Aquaspa, an attractive centre offering numerous luxurious services including thalassotherapy pools, and an innovative treatment room specifically for people with disabilities, as well as a spa cafe on deck.

 

Celebrity Century Ship - new facilities and upgraded amenities 

Dining options on a Celebrity Century cruise include a number of restaurants, including the new Murano, with a Michel Roux inspired menu, the Ocean Grill and the Grand Restaurant, with the cruise liner also boasting a sushi bar and a coffee bar. Entertainment features on the Celebrity Century include the first ice-bar to be found at sea, the Martini Bar, as well as the piano bar Michaels' Club, and the outdoor Sunset Lounge. Other options include the casino, a cinema, dance club and video game room.
