Carnival Ecstasy Cruise Ship - Fantasy-class ship, sailing to Mexico and Caribbean 

The Carnival Ecstasy is one of the company’s' eight Fantasy-class ships, and offers 4 and 5-day cruises to Mexico and the Caribbean. Attracting everyone from families and groups to single travellers, the Carnival Ecstasy has a 'city at sea' theme and offers a comfortable on-board experience with upgraded facilities, as part of the Evolutions of Fun refurbishment programme. The Carnival Ecstasy spent 6 months docked in New Orleans offering quarters for relief workers after Hurricane Katrina. 

Cruise on the Carnival Ecstasy - Upgraded cruise ship, built in 1991 

One of the company’s' long-established ships, making its maiden voyage in 1991, the Carnival Ecstasy weighs in at 70,367 tons, is 855 feet long and travels at a speed of 21kn. The ship has a passenger occupancy of 2,040, with a total of 1,020 cabins, 54 of which have verandas, ranging from basic to deluxe suites. Facilities onboard the Carnival Ecstasy include a shopping promenade, library, card room, large health club and spa, mini-golf course and three swimming pools, featuring the trademark Carnival waterslide. Children are well-served on the Carnival Ecstasy with the fun-filled Camp Carnival offering a wealth of activities and entertainment for all ages. 

 

Carnival Ecstasy Ship - Plenty of entertainment options on-board, lively atmosphere 

Dining on the Carnival Ecstasy takes place in the ships' two main dining rooms, the Wind Star and the Wind Song, with the Panorama Bar and Grill offering a buffet option. Entertainment options are varied on the Carnival Ecstasy, which has a New York theme that extends throughout the public rooms. Guests can choose from Vegas-style shows in the Blue Sapphire Lounge, seating 1,200, live acts in the smaller Starlight Lounge, western shows at Xtreme Country or gambling at the Crystal Palace Casino. Bars onboard the Carnival Ecstasy include the Society Bar, China Town, the Neon Bar, the Metropolis Bar, and the nightclub, Stripes, which offers late-night dancing.
