Weighing in at 110,000 tons, the Carnival Conquest was built in Italy and was launched in 2002. At 952 feet long, the ship is longer than any in the Destiny series, and has capacity for 2,974 passengers. The Carnival Conquest has a colourful Impressionist theme, with the public spaces named for major artists of that period. There are 1,498 staterooms on the Carnival Conquest, 556 of which have private balconies, all at varying categories and price ranges. A total of 13 decks are on board, with 4 swimming pools - home to the traditional water slide, whilst a jogging track, basketball court, volleyball net and golf centre offer daytime activities. The Spa on the Carnival Conquest has basic decor but offers a wide range of facilities and up-to-date equipment, including the first couples' massage room at sea. Children can choose from plenty of fun activities on the Carnival Conquest, which boasts the widest range in the fleet, with the 4,200 square feet Children’s' World offering a wealth of things to do, and the separate Teenage area home to a soda bar, dance floor, video games and air-hockey tables.

Entertainment on the Carnival Conquest ranges from lively Vegas-style productions to quieter piano playing, and guests are spoilt for choice with features such as karaoke, bingo, ballroom dancing and comedy shows, as well as a vibrant casino and Henrys' Disco. Dining on board the Carnival Conquest takes place in one of 2 formal restaurants - the Monet and the Renoir - with the Cezanne a more casual option (open for lunch), as well as a sushi restaurant, cafe, 24-hour pizza station and midnight buffet. Bars on board the Carnival Conquest include Alfred’s' Bar, Gaugins' Bar and a sports bar.
